My name is Detective Kitty Kat Meow McFluffy and I run The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International. Join me and your fellow Kitten Detectives to make friends and explore the curious world of Kittyville together. You will get your own Kitty Kat Detective code name and learn the skills you need to be an excellent Kat Detective. Meet the cat characters who live in Kittyville and help write history as we explore together through role-play games (RPG), escape room mysteries, and adventures - with a brand new mystery every week. Lots of Kittens enjoy dressing up as their Kitty Kat characters. Whiskers and cosplay are welcome but very much optional here! Every class starts with 'Mews' (Kitty Kat News). This is where we all share the adventures that we have been having. You can share your favorite books, games, your real-life cats, the weather outside, facts, and jokes, or recommend your favorite kitty Outschool classes... I want to know everything! Next, you will get to choose your own cat to adopt from my cat gallery. This will be your own cat that will enter the class social space. Each week you can personalize your cat - change its color, give it accessories; wings, a kittycorn horn, a kitten, a pet, or a bow tie anything from your imagination. If you would like your real-life cat or stuffie to join the fun just upload a photo of them to the Outschool classroom (with a fairly plain background if possible) and I will add them to the class. Then it is time for the mystery. Each week I write a new mystery with a different theme (see below). If there is something that you would like to investigate - let me know, and I will add it to the list and write a new mystery for you. I trained at a top drama school in London and create devised theatre and inclusive dance performances. I have been a teacher in schools and further education for the last 16 years. I specialize in teaching drama, English, maths, enterprise, and working with students with learning disabilities. In December 2020 I left my full-time job teaching maths, drama, and citizenship in a secondary school for autistic learners to work full time at The Kitty Kat Detective Agency International.
I am passionate about inclusion and mastery. I am skilled at teaching complex concepts using simple visual methods. I use my acting training to retell magical stories with fun, maths puzzles, and games woven in with top tips for individual students on how to develop their maths and communication skills.
