Your child will need the following list of ingredients: all purpose flour, eggs, butter, canola oil, sugar, oatmeal, vanilla. Equipment: Oven, baking sheets, parchment paper, bowl, spatula, whisk or hand mixer, measuring spoons and cups and cutting board.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents are welcome to assist if their child needs help with manipulating equipment and ingredients. Parents must also monitor the child when using a hot oven, stove or sharp equipment. The kids are expected to clean up after themselves. This is part of the class and builds a sense of responsibility. Please do not clean up for them.
Allergy attention: We will be working with eggs, butter and flour in this recipe. Should your child have any allergies, contact me privately to see if we can adjust the recipe for your child.
