Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to use a recipe to follow directions and bake a cake with accuracy.
As a homeschooling mom of four, my children have been successfully making recipes in the kitchen since they were 18 months old. On my youtube channel, mommybee, several of our creations have been documented! Children love the sensory experience of mixing, stirring, pouring and seeing their hard work materialize into a wonderful creation! These experiences are learning opportunities that enhance practical life skills but also teach key math concepts like measuring and being accurate with numbers.
Students will be asked to share pictures of their cakes in the classroom once they are completed. Feel free to share images of your family eating and enjoying them as well!
