In this ongoing class we will explore the incredible brain and the anatomy of the five senses. We will then discover how we can learn techniques to handle day-to-day stress or anxiety.
Each of the five senses is a stand alone class that does not build on another. It is recommended that the learner takes "The Incredible Brain and Managing Emotions" as a prerequisite but not absolutely necessary. There will be a brief review in the beginning of class. Each week will cover a different topic. We will learn the anatomy of five senses and how they connect to the brain. We will discover how we can discover techniques to handle day-to-day stress or anxiety. We will use presentation...

Students will learn how the five senses work and connect them with our emotions. We will discover how we can use our senses to positively or negatively effect our daily life. The learner will discover ways to turn a bad day around to make it a good day.

There will be a one page handout for most classes. This will be provided to download print. If a printer is not available a notebook and pencil will be helpful. The learner can bring colored pencils, markers, or crayons to class. If supplies are needed the learner will be informed in advance.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
