In this interactive, month long course, students will read and discuss the first book of The Hunger Games. We will analyze characters and their motivation, the setting of Panem, and how the story relates to our current reality TV and social media constructs. This will be a learner guided course as students will be encouraged to lead the discussion with guiding questions and conversations provided by the teacher. Students will need a copy of The Hunger Games (Book 1 of the trilogy by Suzanne Collins)
