In this class, students will identify how the human body protects itself from foreign invaders that can cause illnesses. The objective of the class includes reviewing a complex network of cells and proteins that defends the body against infection. Students will be taught with direct teacher-led instruction using slides, graphics, and interactive questions. Students are encouraged to interact with their instructor and peers during the class discussion. Students are not required to have any prior experience or knowledge.
