This class is designed to provide information about the human body for 6th-10th graders. The parts of the human body are explained and illustrated. We will talk about each organ and how they keep our bodies healthy, and what happens if they work improperly or not at all. This class is sometimes run for 5 weeks 2x a week, and others an 8 week class once a week with organs combined into one class...
While in college, I focused in scientific subjects as a part of my Bachelors Degree. I worked along medical students from a very young age (starting in high school, and continuing through college) working on cadavers, in the Yale University Cadaver Lab, to learn as much about the human body that I could. My passion for life, our bodies, and how our bodies work mixed with my enthusiasm for teaching will make this class an exciting way to learn for every child. I will answer emails within 24 hours.
I post the class after each class. Please have a pencil and paper/notebook during class. Colored pencils/markers/crayons are needed as well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
