Description

Class Experience

Students will be assigned a section of the book to read each week.  As a group, we will discuss the events of the assigned reading in a respectful manner giving all the students the chance to respond if they so wish to during class.  The students will enjoy learning literacy skills in a fun and engaging way. We will listen to audible, read and answer higher order thinking questions.  This class is wonderful for learning to pay attention to details, and it makes for great discussions. ...

Students will read chapter 1 before class, and then 3 chapters every week for homework.

Students will need a copy of the book:
The Hobbit
by J. R. R. Tolkien

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
