Have you ever wondered why Soccer is also known as Football, or why Football is also known as Soccer? Did you know that there were many different versions of this game played by many different cultures around the world going back as far as 3000 years ago? How did it evolve into the sport that is today known worldwide? In this one-time class, we will examine the different types of games that have been played throughout history (Tchatali in Mesoamerica, Cuju in China, and Marn Grook in Austalia), how and when it became popular in Europe, and how the modern day rules have evolved.

Learners will learn the history of this universally unique and beloved sport.
