Hi there and welcome to my one-time class, where we will learn all about the history of Halloween. This class will be taught through fun and engaging PowerPoint slides where I will include some reading and pictures about the origins of Halloween and why it is still so popular today. I am a fun energetic teacher that likes to keep students engaged by providing a fun class environment. I do ask that you respect everyone in the class and we will take turns engaging in the topic. Learners don't necessarily need to bring anything to the class, if they want to dress up in any Halloween costumes then I would look forward to seeing that, however just an interest in the topic is all I ask. Please refer to the parent guidlines on costumes. I currently work in a primary school as a teaching assistant and we are currently teaching the children about the history of Halloween so I have lots of previous experience in this field. Parental Guidance
There is nothing scary or inappropriate about this class. Masks are welcome, however masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies. Please note that costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they meet Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc) Thank you.
