Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

It needs to be advised that several of the rides that we will discuss portrays minority groups in a racist/ politically incorrect manner.  With that, when we learn about these particular rides, we will discuss the racist portrayal in an informative and kid-friendly manner.  This is true for all rides that are discussed in my class series, in which, out-dated and racist depictions are portrayed.

Additionally, I am a California credentialed Social Science and Elementary teacher, having taught social studies, American History, and World History for 15 years to kids of all ages. History itself is filled with racism and prejudice.  Additionally, my education background, with undergraduate studies in Political Science and Sociology, and, a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, I have substantial knowledge on race relations, systemic racism, and the sociological, psychological, and philosophical influences and effects portrayals and depictions have on the population. Thus, with my educational background and educator experience, I am qualified and competent to address sensitive and racist depictions to the public, with my specialized emphasis to school-age students.
