Description

Class Experience

In this class students will learn about the origins of Christmas and how it came to be only quite recently (in the grand scheme of history) a huge American holiday. We will discover 2-3 interesting Christmas traditions from a few countries around the world as well as play a Christmas trivia game to see how much we know about Christmas. We will finish the class with a simple Christmas tree bookmark that students can complete during class time and add to after class if they would like. To...

Students will learn about the history of Christmas, how Christmas is celebrated in 20 countries around the world and complete a simple Christmas paper craft.

To prepare for the class, please have a piece of paper ready. The paper can be green construction paper or can be colored once complete.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
