In this one-time class, learners will learn facts about what the Diary of Anne Franks is all about. Learners will get to know this beautiful sole as they learn about her trials and tribulations. No prior knowledge is needed. Each child will be encouraged to ask questions and participate as we have a lecture/discussion based class and slide/show. The slide show is prepared by myself. Your child will learn some of her most touching quotes of inspiration. There will be a mild discussion on the Holocaust which will be age appropriate. I am a certified trauma coach and have been trained how to handle sensitive topics in an age appropriate way.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
This is a story of a young girl during the Holocaust. There will be some exposure to true facts about the death and devastation. I will keep this mild and age appropriate and mainly focus on the positive during a difficult time. I feel some history is needed for your learner to understand the full story.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
