The Happy Hangout: Meet, Chat and Make Friends!

Class Experience
The Happy Hangout is a fun, relaxed space where kids ages 7-10 can meet new friends, chat, and take part in lighthearted social activities. This is a stress-free, welcoming hangout designed for kids who love to talk, laugh, and connect in a friendly environment.

Each session includes one structured activity—such as an icebreaker game, a fun question, or a silly challenge—followed by plenty of free chat time where kids can socialize naturally, share their interests, and enjoy being part of a supportive group.

What Will Be Taught?
This club focuses on social skills, communication, and confidence-building in a fun and casual way. While there’s no formal instruction, kids will develop conversation skills, active listening, and positive social interactions through engaging discussions and interactive activities.

Topics We Will Cover:
Each session will include a fun, structured activity to spark conversation and connection, such as:
🗣️ Would You Rather? – Funny and creative questions that get everyone talking.
🎭 Silly Acting & Charades – Lighthearted games that encourage creativity and laughter.
🎨 Show & Share – Kids can (if they choose) share something they love, like a book, drawing, or fun fact.
🎲 Quick Icebreaker Games – Simple, fun activities to help kids get to know each other.
💡 Question of the Day – A fun topic to spark interesting conversations.

After the structured activity, kids will have plenty of time to chat freely, bond over common interests, and build friendships in a natural way.

How is the Class Structured?
Each session follows a simple, flexible format:
1️⃣ Welcome & Icebreaker (5-7 min) – A quick warm-up game or fun question to get the conversation started.
2️⃣ Structured Activity (10-15 min) – A fun game or interactive challenge that encourages engagement.
3️⃣ Open Chat & Social Time (15-20 min) – A relaxed time for kids to talk, share, and enjoy making friends.

This club is designed to be learner-led, so kids can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable.

How Will I Teach?
I will guide the group with a friendly and supportive approach, introducing activities, keeping conversations flowing, and ensuring that everyone feels included. However, this is a kid-driven social space, so the focus is on natural conversations and interactions rather than structured lessons.
