In this journal club, we will engage in conversation & dive into thoughts that will promote positive thinking. We will turn our thoughts into journal entries to develop & practice social-emotional skills, and establish a growth mindset.
Class experience
In this weekly journal club, students will come together as a group and express themselves through writing & journaling. We will focus on topics that will help students work on self-awareness, and self-management while also promoting a foundation in social-emotional skills such as social skills, relationship skills, responsible decision making, and more! Students will practice journaling and gain confidence in expressing their thoughts. Students will also develop SEL skills.
As an educator, I have experience working with children on their social-emotional skills and have completed training in developing SEL lessons.
*Journal/ Paper *Pens / Pencil Colored pencils, crayons, markers (not required)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
