No matter the Grinch book or movies, what's something they all have in common? Snow! The Grinch is surrounded by beautiful Christmas snow! Although, the Whos in Whoville may have enjoyed it more than him at first. In this one-time fun Christmas class, we will get hands-on by making Grinch snow dough! By combining conditioner, corn starch, and maybe even the (optional) red or green glitter or hearts - we will make fun, squishy snow dough to go along with our book. Then, get cozy and begin creating with your dough as we celebrate the holiday by reading "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by Dr. Seuss! Overview: Class will begin with a choice between 2 fun Grinch-y activities (ice-breaker), then we will begin making our snow dough! As students finish making snow dough and create things with it, I read aloud the book. Students can wear Christmas/Grinch themed hats, clothes, etc. if they would like to. *Please, see the supply list below for the supplies needed to be prepared for class! *This class has a flexible age range meaning even if your learner is not within the age range listed, you can still enroll your learner to have fun and make snow dough! Message me and we can work together to find a good fit for schedule/ages. If you have any questions, please ask! Hello! My name is Ms. C. I am so excited to see you in my Outschool classroom! I offer many classes related to dogs, wildlife, science, reading, and writing. I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
