Students will learn -The beginnings of proper vocalization while singing -How to emote/act in a performance piece -New moves!
I first taught this class when I was a Chicago- based actress. The students loved learning choreography, music and acting tips from the phenomenon that is The Greatest Showman. Using current shows that students know and are invested in help them become more adaptable for the skills they will learn. Plus, life might feel like a circus so why not sell it! Now after teaching this class on Outschool I have made adjustments to the curriculum that makes it easier for an online format. With my BA in Theatre Performance from Huntington University and my 5 years of freelance teaching I have gained the skills to teach students these different art forms in multiple situations and adaptations.
