In this class we will be reading the fun story The Great Turkey Race. Throughout the story we will be taking about the connection between characters and setting along with making predictions of what will happen next. At the end of our story after we summarize what happened we will being making an obstacle course similar to the one in the book. We will be pretending that we are the turkeys from the story and create an course to compete on. Students will need to bring pencil, paper, and crayons so they can create their course.

Please make sure to have paper, pencil and colors (crayons, markers, or colored pencils) to draw out your obstacle course.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
