This course is a self-paced course: On the book, "The Giver". In this course you will find lessons on: Literary and Historical Context, Literary Analysis and Devices and themes and symbolism just to name a few. These lessons are self-guided and self-paced. They are taught by using reading material as well as, videos to explain different concepts and ideas. The learner is able to message the teacher if they happen to have any questions concerning the lessons. After every topic the student will have a short quiz to take the quiz can be taken as many times as they want. The student is also given a practice exam after every lesson. This practice exam can also be retaken as well.

The learning goals are for the student to become familiar with the content in the book. They will be able to analyze and synthesis themes and symbolism.

I have a master's degree in education along with 80 credits above my master's degree. I come with extensive experience in education and look forward to being your child's teacher.
