Class Experience

Run, run, as fast as you can! This three-day class will explore different versions of the story The Gingerbread Man through comprehension, art, and movement activities. 

For our first session we will read the traditional version of the story. Then learners will create gingerbread man puppets by playing the roll-a-candy drawing game. Finally, they will draw their own “story maps” to retell the story.

Class 2- Plain paper, crayons or markers, pencil

Class 3- Assorted colors of construction paper, printable template, printable speech bubble template, scissors, glue, crayons or markers, optional additional decorating supplies (yarn, buttons, stickers, etc.)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
