Class experience
This course is a small- medium-sized class intended for children 7-11 years old interested in learning more about octopuses, marine animals, and the ocean. This class is 50 minutes long, and in this class, we will discover the incredible world of the eight-legged genius, the octopus. Together we will discuss the essential facts about octopus and their habitat. Students will learn the octopus’ life cycle, where they call home, and some unusual human-like behavior characteristics. I have a master's degree in healthcare administration and a minor in sociology. I am an artist, conservationist, Reiki master and animal healer, and teacher. I love teaching students about animals while teaching them the importance of stewardship and environmental responsibility to the animals of our planet.
