Homework
1 hour per week. Homework: Each week there will be optional homework. This will be explain verbally to the students and posted on Outschool to the parents so that everyone knows what work should be completed. Students can put in as little or as much time as they choose. Their characters will benefit from their efforts. I encourage the students to send me their homework electronically but that is not required. They can do all their homework written on paper and either send me a picture OR just don't send it in at all. Either way is good.

This is for students that have already completed the beginner's class. If your child has not done that please register for one of those sessions before registering for this adventure. Druidawn® is an interactive role playing game that uses creative writing and problem solving to overcome obstacles in a group setting.

Now that Queen Jessica has granted you the status of a Druidawn® Knight, you will be assigned many adventures in her service!  You will use the skills you learned in your training to protect Druidawn®.

The Sleeping Guardian has been secretly scouting the world of Druidawn® for worthy Knights to participate in a quest of the upmost importance. Very recently a mysterious amulet has been unearthed by one of his loyal griffins. It was believed to have been lost in the historical Age of Fire era. Legend has it that this amulet is one of great power and can grant the wearer unbridled strength, knowledge and foresight. In the wrong hands this could potentially be cataclysmic.
Due to the nature of the Kysha (ruby sun) amulet, certain humanoids and overlords can never learn of its existence. The Sleeping Guardian has entrusted this knowledge to only three of the overlords, Marina, Uriell and Tibarios.

The chosen few must ensure the safe delivery of the amulet from Botania, across some of the most treacherous of waters, and over snowy waste lands, all the way to overlord Tibarios in the Frozen North. He has the Druid’s Orb and the knowledge to safeguard this powerful amulet forever.

Parental Guidance
Be aware that Druidawn adventures do have various undead and enemies attacking the knights. As in all Druidawn® adventures there is always a peaceful option that the knights may choose but quite frequently they choose a chaotic resolution. Battling, blood, weapons, killing are usually part of a chaotic resolution. Natural disasters may be part of this class as well. Characters and pets may be in peril throughout the stories.

Supply List
You will need 1 20-sided die and 2 6-sided dice during each class.
You will need your character sheets from the character you created in the beginner Druidawn® class.

I first experienced Druidawn® as a participant alongside my son.  We quickly became enamored with the adventures and with leveling up our beloved characters.  Soon I was having fun teaching Druidawn® myself, leading classes through mythical and magical lands.  I have been been using Legends of Druidawn® to encourage students to write for many years.  Words are currency in Druidawn®.  Kids don't HAVE to write, they will WANT to write!
