Intermediate Level
It is recommended that learners have taken The French Corner Level 1-7 prior to enrolling in this course. This is a fun and interactive online course that encourages active student participation. Students will learn through reading prompts, listening exercises and online learning games. During our first session, students will be given a set of rules and expectations.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to improve their conversational skills by being able to have a smooth exchange of thoughts and ideas.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Throughout the course we will be making use of YouTube, Nearpod, and Canva. An account is not required for any of these websites. I will be making use of the share screen feature on Zoom to share my presentations, videos and games. When a game is played in class students will use a link provided in the Chat feature on Zoom and will only input their name/nickname.
Supply List
A notebook and pencil are recommended for note taking but are not required.

I started learning French in 2008, passed the AP French Language Exam with a score of four and have used the language in my volunteer work in Long Island, New York. I spent several weeks in Montreal, Canada every summer from 2011 to 2014 to fully immerse myself in the French language with a host family.
