In this 8 week course students will learn about French art, culture, music and much more!

Class Experience

It is recommended that learners have taken The French Corner Level 1, 2 & 3 prior to enrolling in this course. This is an interactive online course that encourages active student participation. Students will learn through question and answer discussions, music and online learning games. 

Week 1: L'art en France. We will learn about French art and famous artists. What is your favorite piece of art?

Week 2: Allons-y les amis! Let's talk a little bit about our friends and learn how to describe...

Students will complete occasional homework assignments that will help to reinforce the new vocabulary learned during class. Homework assignments will take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Youtube
Nearpod
Canva

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Throughout the course we will be making use of YouTube, Nearpod, and Canva. An account is not required for any of these websites. I will be making use of the share screen feature on Zoom to share my presentations, videos and games. When a game is played in class students will use a link provided in the Chat feature on Zoom and will only input their name/nickname.
