Have you ever heard of a fish that goes fishing? That's right, there are fish that uses a part of their body as a fishing pole. The amazing frogfish is such an interesting angler fish. You may have heard of the angler fish from the midnight zone but the frogfish is an angler fish that lives in the sunlight and twilight zones. In this class, we will explore the color-changing, camouflage king: the frogfish. We will have fun learning about frogfish through pictures, videos, movement, and games....
Learning Through Observation and Conversation The students will make observations. The students will be able to identify the body parts of the frogfish. They will be able to describe the habitat of where frogfish live. They will be able to compare and contrast a frogfish to a frog. The students will conversate with other students and the teacher about the frogfish.
Paper & a pencil
In this class, the students will do in-seat movements to pretend to be like a fish. Please make sure your student has space to stretch their arms while sitting in their chair.
