Description

Class Experience

There will be emphasis on encouraging the students to ask questions (with or without answers) and to view the films as more than entertainment. Students will assess the impact of choices, purposes, experiences, culture, and history on art, messages, and stories.
Each week, the learners will need to watch one movie and take notes about it using a worksheet in preparation for our class.
 5 files available upon enrollment
Each student must have access to the movie of the week with a Netflix subscription, etc. As for the note organizers, I will provide them in the classroom and each student should choose one to complete each week.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Please check the content of each movie to ensure that it will be appropriate for your child. Common Sense Media is a fantastic site for determining whether a movie will be appropriate for your child: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
