In this class, beginner as well as advanced learners will be taught the basic steps to drawing a realistic eye. Lesson 1: The lesson and agenda will be introduced through a Google slide presentation. Each learner will, along with the teacher, create and demonstrate an understanding of a value scale. Lesson 2: Through teacher modeling, each learner will be shown how the application of pressure and the scumbling technique are applied to a variety of shapes to create forms or 3D objects. Lesson 3: Once mastered, the learner will be assisted in drawing a realistic human eye, adding value and shading. Learners will be encouraged to look at their own eye or an actual image of an eye for reference. Each activity will build on the previous activity, so it is very important to attend each class. Practice is encouraged between classes.
