In this class, students will engage in meaningful discussions about the prehistoric shark, the megaladon. This class will be structered around discussion questions. Little is known about this prehistoric shark, except for one important fossil, it's teeth! Learners will be interacting with each other and we will be both oceanographers, and historians. We will look at the clues that this shark left behind and form our own opinions and thoughts! There is no experience required, we will talk about the basics before beginning.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the Megalodon shark by researching the fossils left behind.

My name is Michelle Jacobsen, but you can call me Mrs. J! I live the the sunny state of Florida, USA! I have been a classroom teacher for 3 years and I have such a passion for teaching! I am even my schools nominee for Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year. I have my bachelors degree in Elementary Education, K-6. I am also reading endorced and certified in teaching English as a second language. I currently teach all subjects for 3rd grade, but I have taught grades K-3.
