Gigan influence reaches beyond monster movies. Some may think Gigan just appeared in the theaters in since 2004, but is has been since 1972. Besides Godzilla, he is one of the coolest monsters on TV Earth. He is Godzillas most dangerous and brutal enemy. In this one-time class, students will learn some of the basics from ththis monster from outer space, as they are many others, and some interesting fun facts. This class is a basic overview, but does not go into advanced discussions that may be too much for the new learner. Therefore, this class is not necessarily geared towards learners with advanced knowledge of Gigan
Learning Goals
This class will be more of a lecture-style (yet interactive) class with a PowerPoint, photos, some video footage, or photos. We will have conversations about these fictional monsters and students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss.
