Class Experience

This highly interactive and visual class is for young space enthusiasts and beginners alike who want to expand their knowledge and explore space science beyond the surface level information.

Each week we will cover a new astronomy or space topic, ranging from each of the planets and bodies of our solar system to how quasars and supernovae work, to how space scientists study the Universe and collect data.

In each session will will focus on a different space topic. We will cover any background concepts necessary to understand the subject and then dive into the main material through discussion and an image filled presentation. Learners questions and engagement are regularly encouraged!

This is an ongoing class, learners may join in at any point and do not need to have attended previous lessons.
