Description

Class Experience

In this one-time course learn all about the natural features of the Earth. Landforms include mountains, canyons, oceans, waterfalls, and many other terrain formations. The class will be a live instruction session that encourages learner participation and questions. Throughout the class, I will prompt students to share their knowledge and experience to encourage discussion and a better understanding of the topic. Live lecture instruction may be supplemented with handouts, a foldable, and/or...

The student will be able to:
- describe what a landform is,
- list various different types of landforms, 
- identify landforms based on an image.
- distinguish between mountains, plateaus, hills, etc.

The teacher will post handouts into the Outschool classroom that will be used during the class. The students will need a pencil, glue, and colored pencils or crayons.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
