In our three classes together, students will learn the very basics from how to hold a ukulele to beginning chords and strumming patterns that will open up a boatload of songs for you to play on your own! In the first class, we will learn how to hold the ukulele, tune that bad boy, and the basic chord progression of G, C, & D. Students will be introduced to two songs and be asked to practice them on Monday and Tuesday on their own. In the second class, students will have their ukulele tuned before class, and we will use those chords and the songs from lesson one to work on speed and strumming patterns. A couple more songs will be introduced and students will practice them Wednesday and Thursday. In the final class, students will be asked to play all of the songs we have learned so far, and sing along with me too! I will teach a couple more chords and introduce some more songs for students to practice in class and enjoy on their own. Come join me for a week of NO STRESS learning with lots of fun and laughter!
