Description
Class Experience
In this class, young learners will listen to and learn a fable story about a donkey who wanted to show the other animals that he was smart and bold and not foolish as they thought of him. At the end of the lesson, learners will be able to answer a number of questions and elicit their understanding. They will also learn the moral lesson of this story through a multiple-choice question. The story is illustrated with beautiful pictures. We will read and act the story out and have so much fun...
I am Muna Habeeb . I live in USA - TX - I have been teaching English for more than 30 years. The first twenty-seven years of my professional career as an English teacher were in the classroom setting teaching elementary-aged children and High School students. For the last three years, I have been teaching online for VIPkid an online-based teaching platform. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialization in English and I also possess a TESOL certificate. I love teaching. To me, it is a fascinating and noble job and I find it very gratifying. I believe those good teachers have to encourage their students to shoot for the stars. An important part of the role requires us, teachers, to spark our students' interest in the subject matter and keep them engaged throughout. I work hard to make my lessons entertaining, relevant, and engaging. I make sure to adapt to each student, based on their skills, learning ability, and knowledge. My teaching style suits my student's learning environment. My first aim is to help my students acquire knowledge in multi-skilled activities. I always encourage them to learn from their mistakes. I try to understand their interests and create a diverse learning environment. I am kind and patient and do my best to help my students improve their reading, listening, pronunciation and grammar. I work well with primary, intermediate, and advanced levels.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
