The Dog Listener - Learn How to Safely Interact With Dogs

In this course, students will complete the following lessons: How to greet a dog safely, what to do if you see a lost dog, what to do if a loose dog approaches you, and how to take cues from a dog's behavior to understand how their feeling.

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
This course will teach you how to behave safely around dogs, and how to read a dog’s mood, or as we like to say become a “dog listener.”
Students are to complete the pages in the workbook while being guided by the teacher during the lesson. There will be extra pages not completed during the lesson that are optional for students to complete outside of the class times. Students will also need to answer questions posted in the classroom.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students completion of the workbook and answering questions posted in the classroom.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be using the provided workbook, please print out the workbook and have a pencil/pen available during the course.
