Hey Junior Doctors! Are you interested in learning about where your food goes after you eat it? Well, you're in the right class! In this class, we will learn all about the Digestive System. 1st stop: Mouth 2nd stop: Stomach 3rd stop: Small Intestine 4th stop: Liver 5th stop: Large Intestine Students will need to bring some colored markers and a plain white cotton T-shirt. They will be given step-by-step instructions on how to draw the digestive system on their T-shirts. Students can wear their Digestive System T-shirt and show off the skills that they learned! Please print the worksheet that is located in the classroom section for guidance. I always encourage students to participate and try to create a fun space where learners feel comfortable talking to each other, however, if you're a shy learner, this is a safe space for you too! This class is introductory, no prior knowledge of the digestive system is necessary.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Friends! I am so happy to be here and tell you a little about myself. I am interested in teaching a variety of subjects that I think children will positively benefit from. I graduated with a B.S in Psychology and a masters degree in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. I am certified to teach all subjects. I have taught in the public school, charter School, private school, tutoring platforms, and online settings. I have been teaching for about 10 years.
I strongly believe that I have the extensive experience in teaching science, social studies, and English subjects to children of all ages. I am so fascinated by the human body! My favorite subjects are Human Anatomy and Physiology. I love learning about animals of all kinds. I also love reading and diving into the magical world of books. Lastly, I love learning about people that impact and influence our world. I have a limitless passion for teaching and the ability to bring lessons to life and engage a room of students to become an interested and eager audience.
No matter what age I teach, I love to connect with students and help them discover and nurture a love of learning while being in a fun and engaging environment. I like to design my classes in a unique way so that my students are able to use their imagination and open their mind to a whole new way of learning. I strongly believe that each and every child is unique in their own way. In my class, I strive to cater all different types of learners.
When I'm not teaching in the classroom, I love reading, spending time with my husband, biking, working out, and cooking (passions I would love to teach about as well!) I'm excited to meet your child in class. Can't wait to see you soon!
