Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Get ready for an exciting, one-time class where we’ll take a Dangerous World Tour! From the eye of a hurricane to the bottom of the ocean, we’ll explore the most extreme places on Earth and learn about the science and geography behind them. We'll dive into thrilling natural events like avalanches, discover the biology of scary creatures like crocodiles, and so much more!

In this interactive class, we’ll use a fun slideshow to guide our journey, and learners are encouraged to join in with questions and ideas! Students have the option of using a printable world map to record our journey.

Some of What You’ll Learn:

How avalanches happen and why snow can be deadly
The science behind a gas crater burning in the middle of the desert
Why the jungle can be a scary place to visit
And a lot more!

This class is a fun, fast-paced way to explore geography and science. It’s a perfect introduction to many exciting topics.

This class is a companion to The Dangerous World Tour: Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Snakes, Sharks and More! These two classes can be taken independently and in any order.
