Students will get short research assignments to find new platforms and protocols in the crypto/web3 world. We will then discuss these in class to better understand them and figure out how they can utilize them.Class Experience
**** My All About Crypto Course For Teens Is A Prerequisite To Take This Class. Students Will Not Be Allowed To Enrol If They Haven't Taken The Introductory Class.****** This club is structured to inform and educate learners on the fast-changing digital finance and crypto world. Traditional financial literacy is obsolete. Instead, kids, today will grow up relying on the blockchain and their "on-chain" resume for access to financial products and services, jobs, networking opportunities, and more. To thrive in this new blockchain world, kids must learn digital financial literacy topics far superior to traditional ones. For example, credit cards, mortgages, savings account, current account, stocks, bonds, etc., will all have their blockchain equivalents. As parents, you might have heard about how Warren Buffet bought his first stock at age ten or eleven. You probably also heard about how compound interest and the time value of money helped him become one of the richest men alive. In the 2020s and beyond, it will be less about buying your first stock at age 7 and more about : - buying your first cryptocurrency, - what web 3 platforms are you familiar with, - what airdrops have you received because you were a new/early adopter of a particular platform or token, - what DAOs are you participating in; and - what is your verifiable on-chain resume showing the different decentralized finance protocols and investments you've used? This is simply the evolution of Bill Gates's experience in technology. First, he learned how to program at age 12 because the moms in his high school came together and contributed money to buy the first mainframe computer in the school district. Then, Bill Gates was able to take advantage of that early adopter experience and leverage it into a spectacular career in technology. That's what I want this club to achieve. I want every learner who participates to become highly adept at using blockchain decentralized apps to create an extraordinary future for themselves. Each week will cover a new topic that is gaining popularity and momentum in the crypto world. Each topic is independent of the past week topic so students can come any go any time .Because the crypto space moves very quickly, we might have to adapt to teach new topics every week based on their growing relevance, but here's a small sample of what to expect. Week 1 - Week of December 6th Topic : Decentralized Finance Apps. What are they, and why are they important Week 2 : Week of December 13th Week 2 - Understanding Money Legos - The building blocks of the digital financial infrastructure based on blockchain technology Week 3 - December 27th Topic : Going Bankless - Wallets and self custody financial products and services (Your kids will probably never use traditional banks and banking services in their lives) Week 4: Week of January 10th Topic ; The 24/7/365 Money Markets. Crypto markets are not the stock market. Therefore, they don't close for the weekends or stop during the holidays. They are always on and ready to go. Week 5: January 17th Week Topic : Your guide to Airdrops and the benefits of using new platforms early. Facebook's early users have never received as much as $1 from the company. Though they had supported the platform since 2003, when Mark Zuckerberg invented it, they have never been compensated. And now Mark Zuckerberg is the 4th richest person globally, and Facebook is almost a trillion-dollar company. Crypto platforms routinely give away (Airdrop) new tokens to early adopters to thank them for their support. Just tapping into a handful of airdrops could easily take care of your kid's college tuition and pay off the mortgage of their first home. And so much more. As I study the markets and interact with the leading minds in the crypto space, I'll develop new topics and share them. This club is a great way to help your learner figure out the complex world of digital finance very early. Once they understand these concepts, they will have the skills to master their money and become financially independent adults.

Parental Guidance
The crypto world is obviously a more intensive world. If your kids want to practice what they learned with real money then you might want to put some money in their crypto wallets. Other than that this is purely informational and educational. I have no requirement for kids to use real money to practice what we learn in class.

My name is Chi. I'm passionate about digital technology, financial literacy and achieving financial independence. I hold the following qualifications:
- B.Sc in Finance
- M.A. in International Economics and Finance
I'm a finance pro with a ton of experience - over 10 years in the financial services and real estate industries. I started out on Wall Street as a management consultant and have worked with some big names in investment banking and real estate.
I currently own marketing firm for financial services companies. On top of all that, I'm a qualified instructor - I teach a finance course at a university on a part-time basis and have a bachelor's and master's degree in finance, both with very high honors.
Plus, I've got a syndicated column on Time.com where I give financial advice to over 1,000,000 readers.
***Class Policies***
1) My classes are interactive and based on the Socratic ( Case Study) learning method popularized by the Harvard Business School. Students are encouraged to speak up, debate, and ask questions during class.
I will make the material relatable and incorporate concepts and materials that align with their likes and interests.
2) Students must have working cameras and microphones in class positioned to both see and hear them. This makes each class much more engaging and social.
3) Classes may not proceed if the minimum number of required students is not met. I'll send an email to inform every parent if there's a possibility of moving students to other sections to meet up the minimum required learner count.
A cancellation notice will be sent twenty-one hours before the class is scheduled to go live.
4) "Punctuality is the soul of business" - Thomas Chandler Haliburton.
Lateness is very destructive to business. We expect each learner to login at least 10 minutes before class begins because we will always start promptly on the hour. If there are no students in the class 15 minutes after the class starts I will exit the class for the day.
5) I know in this Zoomed-out world we are in, people will get anxious and fidgety during sessions—That's normal and expected. However, it is unacceptable for a student to become rude, disruptive, belligerent, combative, and confrontational.
Things like spamming the chat, muttering obscenities, displaying crude gestures, making threatening remarks or behavior, or causing disruptions with the camera are not tolerated.
A student will be given an initial warning, and if they continue to be disruptive, they'll be moved to the waiting room. If the disruptive behavior persists, they'll be ejected from the class and will have to watch the recording.
If the disruptive behavior continues in 2 or more classes, the student will be withdrawn from the class. All students deserve to learn in an environment free from disruption.
6) I will issue homework, and I expect the assignments to be handed in 24 hours before the next class.
Since my courses are discussion-based, it is difficult to discuss if both parties lack the necessary information to speak intelligently on the subject matter.
Do endeavor to encourage your ward to send their homework on time. This will help them benefit from the class.
