US Grade 2 - 5
CLASS EXPERIENCE: MINECRAFT BEDROCK EDITION. This edition can be played on PC, Android, and iOS. We will NOT be using Minecraft Java Edition. AGE RANGE: This class is designed for all ages and skill levels. Basic knowledge of English and Computers will be highly beneficial. Prior experience with Minecraft is not required. CLASS OVERVIEW: In this class we will be learning about the Crusades. We will bring this history to life by using the video game of Minecraft. The Crusades are an often forgotten and confusing time in History. There is a lot that happens and this class aims to explore some of the key events. We will be looking at the different Crusades that happened and the outcomes that they produced. We will take a tour of Jerusalem city through the game of Minecraft. We will get to see why the Crusaders went here and what they did once they got there. The Crusades should not just be kept in the history books.
Learning Goals
During this class we will learn why people from Europe headed East to take over the "Holy Lands". We will learn what they did there and how they were received by the people already living there. We will explore the Crusades from different angles and form our own opinions on the events.

Parental Guidance
Some of the topics being discussed will involve sensitive topics, such as religion and war. This course will provide multiple viewpoints and come from a neutral standpoint. History is not always positive and this course will reflect this. The class is designed for children and is suitable for all ages.
Gamer tags will be required for this class. Please send me gamer tags over private message. Never share the gamer tag over the classroom chat. Messages in the classroom chat of this nature will be deleted. This is to insure protection of personal information.
Supply List
A Minecraft account (also known as Minecraft Bedrock Edition) must be purchased by the learner. Learners will receive access to the Minecraft server address to connect to. Minecraft Java Edition will NOT work. A pair of headphones and microphone are also needed.
