The Crown Jewels have been stolen and it is up to you to capture the thief and bring the coveted jewels back to the people of England.

Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6

Students will work together using Google Earth to locate  Carmen Sandiego and Tigress as they travel from country to country with the Crown Jewels. The game is streamed on my computer and shared with the class. Learners will take turns interviewing witnesses and learn how to use street view to explore 5 different cities around the world. During this episode we will visit; London, Rio DeJanero, Tokyo, Dubai, and Sydney. While exploring landmarks they will learn geographical as well as...

Students will become familiar with different countries and landmarks. Students will practice team building skills.They will also learn how to use the tools on Google Earth.

I grew up playing Carmen Sandiego and enjoy sharing this excitement with my learners. I have also taught social studies and geography in both public and private schools.

Students may take notes if they wish.   White paper, crayons, colored pencils, markers.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
