"The Crossover" has sensitive content. While there is no overt profanity, players trash talk each other at times. There is also sexual innuendo used when mentioning his parents are quiet in the next room (presumably indicating they are becoming intimate).
Being a public school teacher at a rural, low-income, and trauma-informed school, I am comfortable discussing topics with courage, compassion and clarity.
Students will be expected to watch videos, complete homework, complete quizzes, and ask/answer questions that are posted in the classroom.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class will consist of guided discussion questions, interactive games (ex. Quizizz, Kahoot, Nearpod, etc), practice worksheets and other materials to show learning.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
