Class experience
In this one-time class for 9- to 12-year-olds you will learn different methods for a successful music practice routine! These methods can be applied to any instrument. Staying focused while practicing can be hard, so you will learn ways to play fun songs and make the most of your practice time. I'm a strong proponent of learners discovering answers, so we will discuss options that work best for you. The class will be centered around brainstorming solutions for you, guided by my experience...
You will learn how to 1. Choose a good length for daily practice time 2. Pick warm-up pieces 3. Work through hard parts 4. Select cool-down pieces 5. Create a written weekly practice outline
