This one-on-one, learner-directed, tutoring course will help students learn to add professional touches to their music. They will learn things such as how songs of their genre are built, such as pop songs that are constructed from an introduction, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, and outro. Learners will explore ways to add musical interest to their songs and create contrasts through different rhythms, instruments, and melodies. They will learn how to mix their songs by adding volume EQ, dynamic compression, reverb, and any sound filters which would benefit their music. There are no prerequisites for this course, but I recommend that learners have completed at least a few music lessons on any instrument.
