Students will learn how to cast on, work the knit and purl stitches, bind off, read a pattern, and care for their knitted projects.

You will need yarn, a pair of knitting needles, and a darning or weaving needle. In my course video, I describe the best types of yarn and needles for beginning knitters. If you would like current links to some of my favorite yarns and needles, I can share them with you after you register for the class!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No grades are given for this class, but I love seeing learners' progress throughout the week!
