Welcome to part 2 of my Fashion Design Program! Over the next three months, we will journey through the world of basic patternmaking together where you will learn all about the tools needed, and the step-by-step process for creating a basic legging pattern and bodice block. This program is designed to give students hands-on experience learning patternmaking. For students that aspire to become a fashion designer this course will allow them to get their feet wet learning patternmaking for beginners. CLASS FORMAT: Lectures will be given live twice a week using screen share and some worksheets. LESSONS: See syllabus for the breakdown of what is taught each week in class. By the end of the course, you will have created your own personal legging pattern, sleeve, and bodice block. You will also receive a certificate of completion for beginner's patternmaking, showcasing your hard work and dedication. Pre-Requisites
Student's must have basic knowledge of how to use their sewing machine. Sewing machine basics will not be taught during this course, and students will be using the sewing machine to construct the patterns created during the course.
