Students will be able to identify and correct fragments in their writing. Students will be able to write simple, compound, and complex sentences with proper punctuation. Students will be able to use appositives in their writing. Students will be able to write single paragraph responses to texts. Students will be able to write multi-paragraph essays. Students will improve their reading comprehension and grow in their ability to produce written responses to the texts that they read.
