For all those “stuck in the 90s” fans and new additions to the greatest decade. We will talk about Britney, Christina, the boy bands, the one hit wonders, the butterfly clips, the fashion and of course the movies from the 90s. We will discover “where are they now” through videos and research and discuss what we find so fascinating about our 90s heroes. Additionally, we will also talk about our favorite movies and sitcoms such as “Friends”, “Clueless”, “Legally Blonde” and others. Through personal experience, photos, videos, and stories, we’ll share what we love most about the 90s. We might venture into the early 2000s to keep up with our favorite artists as well. Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a former zookeeper and educator for over 10 years. I have taught all grade levels, scouts, adults, homeschool and other special interest groups. I currently teach mostly bug-based classes as Kim’s Critter Classes for homeschool and scout groups.
My classes are discussion based where the students lead the learning within the topic of the class. I include both biofacts and live animals and insects in my classes and try to incorporate a craft or game with every lesson.
I have hand-raised kangaroos, binturongs, aardvarks and other animals that are in zoos across the country. I have also presented animals on tour with Jack Hanna.
