Let's learn the classics! This one-time club meeting will engage students through an exploration of classic literature. For this meeting, we will read the original tale of The Three Bears. Through the use of a public domain digitized library, the students will experience the text in a fresh, new way. We will practice reading aloud with emotion in a "popcorn-style" format as we discuss text structure and literary elements. For younger readers, we will also incorporate retelling, reading...

Students are welcome to complete their illustrator's journal entries if they did not finish during the class time. They may also post them for sharing.
Please provide your student with an artist's sketchbook or plain paper notebook, as well as a pencil or colored pencils.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
