In this one-time class, students will explore the life and musical works of the Classical-era composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Class Experience

In this class, you will learn about one of the Classical Era's greatest musical composers - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. 
We will discuss Mozart's life and musical career, as well as how his compositions exemplify musical characteristics of the Classical time period of music history. 

Class will feature a mixture of teacher lecture, listening examples, class discussion, question and answer sessions, and study guide handouts. Class time will generally be broken down into the following segments...

Students will learn about the life and career of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the Classical Era's greatest composers. 
Additionally, students will learn about the musical and stylistic characteristics of the Classical Era and specific works by Mozart that exemplify these characteristics.
