Philip Hamilton is shot and killed in a duel, which we will be discussing. Alexander Hamilton was also shot and killed in a duel which had quite the effect on several of his older children. Angelica Hamilton, after enduring loss most of her life, suffers from mental illness. It will not be my intention to teach about mental illness, just to inform students that this is something that Angelica suffered with.
