The skills that will need to be used in order to solve the mystery are: Clue 1: Match digital clocks and written times Clue 2: Read clocks and write times Clue 3: Elapsed time Clue 4: Time patterns Clue 5: Word problems (Elapsed time) Students will have the choice to work with a partner or by themselves in order to solve the mystery. Through this mystery critical thinking, and mathematical discourage will be encouraged. Upon completion students will earn a super detective award for all of their hard work!
Learning Goals
Students will review measurement skills including: telling time on digital and analogue clocks, and elapsed time.
